Tropical North

Northern Norway has some unexpected stunning white sand beaches. This is on the Lofoten Islands near the small village of Bleik. The stunning coastline almost makes you think you are somewhere in the tropics. Only the palm trees are missing. Oh and yes, the temperature of the water quickly reminds you of the fact that you’re above the Arctic Circle. Besides enjoying a beach day here, there are lot’s of opportunities for short hikes. If you’re lucky you’ll spot some Puffins and you can go on a bird and/or whale watching tour from nearby Andenes. Have you been in Northern Norway?
